Kids club
So since school is out for their "summer" break kids club on Mondays and Wednesdays have been a little different. We have been meeting at the churches that we normally have the clubs and then walk to Renuevos. Depending on what day it is, its either a 20 minute walk or a 10 minute walk. But because of this, the kids are able to run and play in green grass instead of on concrete. And let me tell you the kids love it! It's worth the walk.
The kids find many different things to do at Renuevos. Whether it is playing soccer or on the swing set they have so much fun being able to run around. But I think their absolute favorite thing to do is go Costa Rican sledding. Which includes taking cardboard and sledding down a hill. Its been fun to watch them sled down the hill.
Climbing the side of the mountain
In addition to be being able to play and run around they are still having their Bible study time and song time. But they also get to have snack too. It's always fun to watch the kids singing the songs and requesting to be able to sing more and more.
